characters
Some faces tell you their whole life before anyone speaks. CHARACTERS collects them: people caught in their own context and their own light, in a café window, a doorway, a street corner.
There's often sadness in them.
It isn't a pose.
It's simply the mark of having lived.
I don't explain these people.
Their stories stay hidden, but they're there, in the eyes, the mouth, the way someone holds themselves against the world.
Look long enough and you start to read.
